Well, this evening I assisted at the scene of a car crash. I heard a very very loud crash outside my apartment and ran across the road to find I was the first one on the scene and that the front of the hit woman’s car (Kendra) got crushed hitting a telephone pole head on, and the man who hit her (Brady) was writhing on the ground. He had serious chest pain but no wounds and though he lost consciousness once or twice I was able to wake him. Between the two of them those were the only injuries. A few other people actually stopped and helped until the authorities got there, and both Kendra and Brady were put in ambulances and taken to the hospital. They both are lucky they did not suffer more serious injuries. The man was suspected to be drunk, but he was really concerned for Kendra so at least he cared about the person he hit. And of course we know it wasn’t luck that protected them-it was God. He is amazing. Without his peace and the way he cleared my head, I wouldn’t have been able to help them. He brought helpful loving people so the victims of the crash and myself weren’t alone and responsible authorities. I was disappointed that though many people were right there when it happened that during the 2 minutes it took me to run out there nobody stopped to help a man who had collapsed and a woman who rammed into a giant pole. So, I hope that if you ever witness something like this, I hope you are the one who helps, not keeps driving… but God had a plan and all is fine for the most part. ♥ Take a moment to thank Him for protecting us every minute and for the people who work to take care of people in trouble. God is great. :)

“I like drinking coffee alone and reading alone. I like riding the bus alone and walking home alone. It gives me time to think and set my mind free. I like eating alone and listening to music alone. But when I see a mother with her child, a girl with her lover, or a friend laughing with their best friend, I realise that even though I like being alone, I don’t fancy being lonely. The sky is beautiful, but the people are sad. I just need someone who won’t run away.”
